Québec Law 25 — Private-sector privacy
Law 25 (the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information) updated Québec’s private-sector privacy law in phases from 2022 to 2024. It requires a person in charge of protecting personal information, privacy impact assessments, confidentiality incident reporting to the Commission d’accès à l’information, clear consent and transparency, and data portability.

Why it matters to your dealership
We serve Québec dealerships in French and English. Law 25 sets some of the strictest privacy rules in North America for the customer information you share with service providers like us.
Our status
Dealer Suite 360 is built to meet the Law 25 obligations that apply to us. Law 25 is a law; there is no certification.
How Dealer Suite 360 applies it
- A person responsible for personal information handles privacy requests ([email protected], subject “Privacy”).
- Confidentiality incidents are assessed, recorded and reported to affected dealerships — and to the CAI where required.
- Our privacy policy is published in French and English and names every service provider we use.
- Privacy is considered before new features that touch personal information go live.
- Dealerships can request a copy of their data in a structured, commonly used format.
Dealer Suite 360 is designed and operated in alignment with these frameworks. Alignment does not imply formal certification.
